Rea Dennhardt

Rea has been through the Royal Court, Soho and Criterion New Writers Labs; shortlisted for Retzhofer Drama Prize (Germany), Tamasha New Playwrights, Tara Nova, Tony Craze and the Snoo Wilson Playwriting Awards; and devised on Barbican Labs. Her work has been performed at Soho Theatre, the Bush Theatre, Drama Festival Graz, The Barbican and The Arcola. She wrote her first play for The RSC, and it was staged at Norwich Theatre Royal.

Her short stories have been published in Brick Lane Prize Anthology and the Mechanics Institute Review, and been short/longlisted by competitions including Spain’s Desperate Literature and the Bridport Prize.

She writes for stage, screen and radio and has directed short films.
